Traveling to the Mission

To get to the Mission at Natuvu Creek, there are several 11-hour non-stop overnight flights from Los Angeles to Fiji every week. Other Fiji airways departure cities are San Francisco and Dallas. Following your arrival in Fiji, you will fly an additional 1+ hours on a small domestic flight to one of several smaller island airports, followed by a 2-hour taxi or taxi/boat ride. Our travel coordinator will arrange all travel for volunteers.
You must be in good physical and mental health. Our location is remote. Any physical condition requiring special attention, diet, or treatment must be considered before confirming your trip to MNC. It is strongly recommended that people requiring assistance be accompanied by a companion who is capable of and responsible for providing assistance.

Ever wanted to visit Australia or New Zealand? We can schedule an extension as part of your Fiji Airways ticket to nearby Australia or New Zealand. Visas are not required for Fiji if you are a U.S. citizen.

There are currently no required vaccinations for travel to Fiji, but we do recommend that you have a current tetanus vaccination as the corral of the beautiful Rainbow Reef can be quite sharp.
