Jean-Michel Cousteau, the famous French oceanographic explorer, environmentalist, educator, and film producer will visit the Mission this summer! The first son of ocean explorer Jacques Cousteau, Mr. Cousteau has a deep caring for preservation and conservation and is interested in building a world class marine biology research center right on the grounds of the Mission! MNC will add ecology and preservation of the Rainbow Reef as part of our Mission Statement and will welcome scientists, researchers, educators and students interested in marine biology and ecology from all over the world! Whether you have never been to the Mission at Natuvu Creek, or are you one of our valued previous volunteers missing this amazing “Vacation with a Purpose,” we would love to see you at the Mission! We still have plenty of open space for volunteers of every medical discipline and non-medical volunteers. Our volunteers include dentists, physicians and surgeons, nurses, optometrists, chiropractors, engineers, teachers, students and more! Now scheduling for 2018 and 2019.
