Dear Friends,

I am currently a sophomore with a Sports Medicine major and Psychology minor at Pepperdine University and am honored to have been recently accepted into Pepperdine’s summer abroad medical mission program at Natuvu Creek in Fiji for this upcoming May.

This is a mission’s trip that will comprise of daily dental and medical services at local clinics as well as working to help out schools and impoverished communities in Fiji. I will also be taking a general education class that will contribute to my bachelor’s degree at Pepperdine.

The purpose I have for going on this trip is to be of service to those in need physically and to be a light in their lives spiritually. I look to broaden my knowledge and perspective on life through experiencing a radically different culture and interacting with the locals. My hope is that this experience will encourage and provide a vision for what I want to do after I graduate from college. I believe that the passion and desire I have for helping people has always been prevalent in my life and was given to me by God and inspired by the love He has for us. I am always excited to go be of use wherever God is calling me; to continue to grow in my faith and myself as a person, and to help others know about Christ through loving and helping them.

My goal is to raise $4500 for this trip to help with the expense of travel, room & board, and extra costs that may arise during my time in Fiji. I am immensely blessed to be given this opportunity to be a blessing to others and I ask for you to be a part of my prayer support team as I embark on this upcoming journey and all the challenges and blessings that await.
