MAKING THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE

Dear Friends and Family,

I have an exciting opportunity to be a part of a medical mission trip in Fiji this upcoming summer, July 24 – August 4, 2019. This mission trip will involve daily dental and medical services at “The Mission at Natuvu Creek,” a faith-based nonprofit organization. The Mission at Natuvu Creek has a medical facility where they offer free medical care to needy Fijians. They operate as a base for people seeking to serve the people of Fiji. Our team will be providing general medical care, eye care and cataract surgeries, helping at the school with maintenance work and having health talks at the school. As many of you know, I am a nursing student at Union College in Lincoln, NE, and I am very passionate about healthcare and helping others. I believe God has called me to be a nurse and I look forward to sharing my skills and learning from other medical professionals as we help the people of Fiji. My hope is to share Jesus with them and be a light in their lives spiritually. My goal is to raise $3,000 for this trip to help with the expense of airfare, lodging, meals, and any extra costs that may arise during my time in Fiji. If you are able to donate toward my trip I will greatly appreciate it. I am very thankful to have this opportunity to help others.
